Xport® Surefire 115VAC Controller – Chain Brush

Automatic chain brush lubrication system delivers right amount of lubricant at right time to critical equipment

Xport® Chain Spray & Brush Systems are automatic lubrication systems designed to dispense lubricants in small, measured amounts over short, frequent time intervals for optimal chain lubrication. It eliminates human resource constraints and make consistent lubrication easier in physical locations or on types of machines where it was previously difficult. These innovative systems come in a spray or brush configuration.

Using an ALS for lubricant application leads to improved quality of lubrication as well as a reduction in labor requirements. Its successful use, however, requires knowledge of lubrication fundamentals. In order to avoid mistakes and realize positive results from such devices, you must select the right system for a given application, install the system correctly, and determine the optimum application rate. LE’s highly trained and skilled representatives can help you get started.

Solving the Challenges of Chain Lubrication in South African Bakeries

Industrial baking equipment operates under intense conditions. Inside a proving chamber, temperatures of around 38°C combined with humidity of between 85% and 100% create conditions that can cause an ordinary lubricant to fail within days. Lubrication Engineers (LE) South Africa recently worked with a bakery to more effectively lubricate its

What Your Lubricant Really Costs: A Total Cost of Ownership Perspective

When industrial operations evaluate lubricant costs, the focus often falls on the price per drum, cartridge or container. Yet this purchase price represents only a fraction of what lubrication ultimately costs a business. The far bigger financial impact lies in how well a lubricant protects equipment, how long it lasts in service and the role it plays in

Why Lubrication Fails in Mining, and What to Do About It

Mining is one of the harshest operating environments for any piece of machinery. Dust, shock loading, moisture and extreme mechanical demands place equipment in mining operations under near-constant stress. However, when machinery fails, lubrication is often one of the last things that is looked at, even though it is often at the root of the problem.  Llewellyn Owen, New Business Development Manager (Coastal) at

The True Cost of Incorrect Lubrication

At an industrial plant, lubrication is not always top of mind – until something breaks. Unfortunately, by then the damage is done. Sam Kekana, Technical Sales Representative at Lubrication Engineers (LE) South Africa, has spent years working with plant maintenance teams across a range of industries, and he has seen where lubrication goes wrong and what it costs companies when
